AR Platform Rifles – Basics

Class Description: Introductory course is designed for individuals with little to no prior rifle experience. It provides a solid foundation in safe handling, operation, and marksmanship fundamentals using AR Platform Rifles.
Students will have a hands-on learning experience in loading and unloading procedures, and basic maintenance. Participants are permitted and encouraged to bring their own AR Platform Rifle to this class, but not required. Rifles will be available.
Students will learn essential skills including proper stance, aiming techniques, using the MILO Dry-Fire Simulation Range. Emphasis is placed on firearm safety, responsible ownership, and building confidence through hands-on, instructor-led practice.

- Firearm safety rules and range etiquette
- Parts and functions of a rifle
- Proper grip, stance, and sight alignment
- Loading, unloading, and clearing malfunctions
- Rifle cleaning and basic maintenance
Who Should Attend:
New shooters, recreational users, and anyone seeking to build a solid foundation in rifle use.
