What: A foundational course blending NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting with Hot Shots’ MILO Dry-Fire Simulation Range. Students learn firearm safety, pistol parts and operation, ammunition basics, stance, grip, sight alignment, and trigger control.

Where: Conducted in our Simulation Range, with optional live-fire add-on (weather permitting).

Why: Dry-fire builds the muscle memory and confidence needed to perform well in live-fire. Every repetition in simulation is designed to translate directly to your performance at the live range — skills live-fire alone cannot build.

Who: First-time handgun owners, new shooters, or anyone wanting a safe, structured introduction.

Dry-Fire vs. Live-Fire Advantage: Live-fire tests your skill — dry-fire builds it. In simulation, you get unlimited reps, immediate coaching, and safe, judgment-based practice that prepares you for the range.

Proven Results: Our Range Master now consistently achieves the same — and often better — accuracy hitting a 2″ circle in simulation as he previously did on a 4″ live-fire target at the same distance. That precision came from training muscle memory in dry-fire.
