This two-hour session delves into the distinctions between revolvers and pistols, various calibers, different grips, and the optimal firearms for concealed carry versus home defense. The selection of a firearm is a highly personal decision, as what may suit another individual may not be the most suitable choice for you. Standing before a gun case in a store can be both confusing and overwhelming. While you may receive guidance from the person standing beside you, sales representatives may inadvertently exacerbate the anxiety you likely experienced upon entering the store.
To ensure an informed decision, it is advisable to thoroughly consider your skill level, intended use, and preferences before making a purchase. This will help you avoid selecting a firearm that may not align with your needs.
The class will provide an opportunity to explore various pistol and revolver models, including calibers such as 9mm, .45, .40, .380, .357/.38Spl, and more. You will have the chance to handle and learn about these firearms in an informative and hands-on manner. If time permits, the instructors will briefly discuss various holsters that may be of interest.
For those seeking a comprehensive understanding of holstering, an additional class is offered on the Training Academy schedule. This specialized class is highly recommended and will provide valuable insights into holstering techniques.
To secure your place in this class, it is strongly advised to register promptly, as enrollment capacity is limited to 40 participants. This class is highly sought after and particularly beneficial for individuals intending to make a firearm purchase or enroll in a concealed carry weapons (CCW) course.
