This course challenges more than your shooting ability—it tests your judgment under stress. Participants will engage in fast-paced, decision-based scenarios that replicate real-world encounters, where hesitation or poor choices can have serious consequences.

Utilizing our MILO Simulation Range, you’ll face dynamic situations such as home intrusions, public threats, and active shooter events. After each scenario, instructors will provide detailed feedback and analysis to sharpen your thinking, improve your reactions, and refine your ability to act lawfully and decisively.

What You’ll Experience:

Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate

Age Requirement: 16+

At a distance of 7 to 10 feet, you may have only one second to act. That’s the average amount of time it takes for an attacker to close the gap—and many people are unarmed, untrained, or unsure of what to do when that moment comes.

This class provides essential training for defending yourself when space, time, and resources are limited. Participants will learn simple but effective techniques to disrupt, escape, and survive close-contact threats—whether armed or unarmed.

What You’ll Learn:
– Identify and avoid dangerous situations early
– Verbal de-escalation and non-verbal deterrence
– Escape techniques from common grabs and holds
– Effective striking using gross motor movements
– Use common objects (pens, keys, water bottles) for defense
– Decision-making scenarios in the MILO Simulation Range

Who Should Attend:
Anyone who does not carry a weapon, or carries and understands the need for a physical Plan B.

Required:
Comfortable clothing suitable for movement. No prior experience necessary.
