DESCRIPTION:Hot Shots Training Academy provides you with not only an outstanding Ohio CCW/ CHL Class\, but a FREE 30- Day Membership giving you access to 25% Savings on Range Time\, 25% Discounts on our entire Class Catalogue\, Use of Recoil Enabled Firearms\, and more! Because\,  attending a CCW Class and obtaining an Ohio CHL should be the first step on your journey\, and not your final destination to carrying for self-defense! And given that— From just 2 feet\, a person can reach you in under half a second. At 5 feet\, they’re on you in just over half a second. At 7–10 feet\, you might have one second—if you even see it coming. That’s faster than a single breath.\n\nThis course meets all the requirements of the Ohio Revised Code to obtain a Concealed Handgun License in Ohio. Students learn safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the two handed standing position; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development.\n\nStudents should bring a legal handgun and 100 rounds of ammo. If you do not own a handgun\, please let us know before the class\, and one will be provided for you.  Also bring clothes that are suitable for the weather as you will be outside for two hours completing the range requirements. Boots are also recommended as it can get muddy at the range.\n\nRequirements Include:*You must be legally living in the United States and a resident of Ohio (or employed in Ohio).*You must be at least 21 years of age.*You must not be an unlawful user of\, or addicted to any controlled substance.*You must not be a fugitive from justice.*You must not be prohibited by federal law from possessing a firearm.*You must be able to pass a “NICS” criminal background check.\n\nThis is not a complete list. Again\, read the Attorney General’s manual carefully.Hot Shots Shooting Center & Training Academy does not engage in gun sales. Our primary focus is on providing premium\, instructor-led firearms training and education within our state-of-the-art facility. The facility is equipped with a cutting-edge Virtual Simulation Shooting Range\, which offers a diverse range of over one thousand virtual simulations that patrons can utilize for training or recreational purposes. \nHot Shots Shooting Center has made the training experience accessible to civilians within our community by providing access to MILO virtual simulation equipment. MILO’s advanced training capabilities are typically reserved for law enforcement and military personnel.
