DESCRIPTION:CCW / CHL Certification: Demonstrating Responsibility in a Constitutional Carry State Date/Time: Saturday\, September 13 • 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM  \nDescription: While Ohio no longer requires a CHL for concealed carry\, obtaining one demonstrates your commitment to safety\, responsibility\, and proper firearms handling. This course exceeds Ohio’s requirements for CHL certification\, combining six hours of classroom learning with hands-on firearm safety\, followed by a live range qualification.  \nWhat You’ll Learn:  \n– Ohio laws & regulations governing concealed carry  \n– Firearm safety and responsible ownership – Pistol parts\, operation\, and ammunition  \n– Fundamentals of shooting from the two-handed standing position  \n– Range rules and etiquette  \n– Cleaning and maintaining your handgun  \n– Live fire qualification to demonstrate proficiency  \nRequirements:  \n– Must be 21+ and a resident (or employed) in Ohio  \n– Must pass background/NICS requirements  \n– Must not be prohibited by federal law from possessing a firearm  \nSeats Available: 12 Registration Fee: $90 (No member discounts) Includes: FREE 30-Day Membership (25% savings on range time\, discounts on future classes\, use of recoil-enabled firearms\, and more).
