SUMMARY:CCW/CHL Certification Course – Sat Oct 11 (8:00 am–4:30 pm)
DESCRIPTION:Meets Ohio requirements for obtaining your Concealed Carry (CCW/CHL) permit. Covers firearm safety\, handling\, legal responsibilities\, and range qualification. Includes live-fire session.\n\nStudents should bring a legal handgun and 100 rounds of ammo. If you do not own a handgun\, please let us know before the class\, and one will be provided for you.  Also bring clothes that are suitable for the weather as you will be outside for two hours completing the range requirements. Boots are also recommended as it can get muddy at the range.\n\nFor questions call: JJ Bittinger\, Instructor (419) 565-2468\nRequirements Include:*You must be legally living in the United States and a resident of Ohio (or employed in Ohio).*You must be at least 21 years of age.*You must not be an unlawful user of\, or addicted to any controlled substance.*You must not be a fugitive from justice.*You must not be prohibited by federal law from possessing a firearm.*You must be able to pass a “NICS” criminal background check.\n\nThis is not a complete list.
