Bring your handgun and 100 rounds of ammo. \nIf you’re not already a member of Armed Women of America (AWA)\, we’d love for you to join! You can learn more about our mission by visiting our website at http://armedwomen.org. \nOnce you’re a member\, you can choose the North Central Ohio Chapter as your preference. All ladies who want to attend one of our monthly scheduled trainings can do so once they’ve become a member. If you just want to visit the range\, you’ll still need to register and have a ticket. This class teaches you how to effectively use a flashlight in conjunction with a handgun\, improving your target identification\, control\, and accuracy when the lights go out. \nWhat You’ll Learn: \n\nFundamentals of low-light shooting\nFlashlight techniques (handheld and weapon-mounted)\nIdentifying threats vs. non-threats in the dark\nOne-handed shooting and reloading with a flashlight\nNavigating corners\, cover\, and confined spaces\nDe-escalation and communication in low-visibility environments\n\nWhat Makes This Class Different: \n\nHands-on drills in controlled low-light settings\nOptional simulation scenarios using the MILO training system (if available)\nCritical thinking under stress: shoot / no-shoot decisions in the dark\n\nNote: No live ammunition is allowed in the classroom or simulator space.
